🇭🇹【4K】Walking around Cap Haitien on a Wednesday Afternoon | Streets of Haiti 2022

On our 1st day in Cap Haitien, we decided to take a walk and see what was happening around the city. We walked through the square by Cathedrale Notre Dame de Cap Haitien (a.k.a. Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral). The cathedral dates back to 1670, when Haiti was a colony of France. It was in this square of the cathedral that the liberation of the slaves was proclaimed on August 29th 1793. We then walked down to Cap Haitien Boulevard (Boulevard du Cap-Haitian) a waterfront strip with lots of bars, restaurants and hotels.
