HAITIAN FRIED CHICKEN RECIPE 🇭🇹|| HOW TO MAKE HAITIAN FRIED CHICKEN AND SAUCE
-Cleaning meat (optional)
3.3lbs of chicken drum sticks
3 limes
1 tablespoon of salt
1/4 cup of sour orange juice
1/4 cup of white distilled vinegar
Boiling water just enough to cover the entire meat
-Seasoning meat
1/2 cup of epis (Best Haitian epis https://youtu.be/OC56aEXTcMo )
1 cube of chicken flavored bouillon Maggie
1 tablespoon of seasoning salt
Parsley
Thyme
1 bonnet pepper (optional)
-Cooking meat
Cook at medium high heat 7
2 cups of water
Cook meat for about 20- 30 minutes
-Frying chicken
Oil
Deep fryer  360°
Fry for 2-3 minutes
-Making sauce
1/2 of a medium sized onion
1/2 of 1/2 of bell peppers (All colors)
Remainder of sauce that was in the chicken pot back on the stove
Medium heat 6-7
1 or 2 cups of water (depends on how much sauce you want)
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 tablespoon of water
Add tomato paste water mixture to pot
Let cook for about 3 minutes
Add bell peppers and onions
⭐️ If you want to you can add the fried chicken to the sauce and let it cook for about 1 minute on medium high heat 6-7( but I didn’t want to make it that way in the Video)
