Haiti All-Star Celebrity Game 2021
On January 17th, Baskètbòl pou Ankadre Lajenès (BAL) organized the inaugural Haiti All-Star Celebrity Game, in collaboration with Handzup Group and DaliReel Productions.
In addition to former U.S. Secretary of Education (and former NBA All-Star Celebrity Game MVP) Arne Duncan, the game featured some of Haiti's most popular artists, including Mikaben, Misty Jean, T Ansyto, Polo of Djakout #1, Masta Preacha of Rockfam, YStamper and Staël of Rockfam.
A number of business and nonprofit executives also participated, including Dave Fils-Aimé, Executive Director of Baskètbòl pou Ankadre Lajenès (BAL); Harry Luc, Director General of Handzup Group; Marc-Arthur Jean-Louis, Director of Haiti's Sport for Hope Center; Henri Jean, President of the Fédération Haïtienne de Basket-Ball; Roudy Stanley Penn, Director General of PoliticoTech; Jasson Valbrun, CEO of the Centre Sportif et Récréatif de Turgeau. Lastly, the game also featured Haitian basketball players Watson Amboise, Christopher Philémon (San Christobal) and Warrence Mitilien (Toutou).
Team Blue defeated Team Red with a final score of 49 - 35. Warrence Mitilien (Toutou) of Team Blue was awarded the MVP award after registering 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
