half cup of lemon juice
2 limes cut in half
salt

Ingredients for Seasoning the fish:

1 tablespoon of garlic salt
1 tablespoon of hot sauce
half teaspoon of black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon of lime juice

1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1 tablespoon of Badia complete seaonin
canola oil

Ingredients for Sauce:
2 tablespoons of extra virgin oil
2 tablespoons of tomatoes paste
1 whole onion
1 half green pepper
thyme & parsley tied together
1 tablespoon of regular butter
1 tablespoon of lily butter
6 cloves

Directions:

1. In a small container, soak fish with cleaning ingredients for at least 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, clean the fish throughly at least 3 times with lime and lemon and rinse with cold water.

2. Remove extra scales with a knife, on top of fish, near the fins, scraping around tail, near the head and take out unwanted portion inside at the base of the head.

3. Clean fish with lime halves inside and out up to the jaw, then rinse with cold water.

Anti-Blackness in Canadian foreign-policy. What is the Haiti Core Group?
FEATURING:
Jemima Pierre (Black Alliance for Peace, UCLA)
Jean Saint-Vil (Solidarity Quebec Haiti)
El Jones (Mount Saint Vincent University)
Moderated by Bianca Mugyenyi, Canadian Foreign Policy Institute
***
What is the Haiti Core Group?
The Canadian government is part of a colonial alliance in Haiti.
The Core Group (US, Canada, France, Brazil, Spain, Germany, EU, UN, OAS representatives) has heavily shaped Haitian affairs and has overseen the descent of political life in Haiti.
Formally established by the UN Security Council after US, French and Canadian troops overthrew Haiti’s elected government in 2004, the Core Group unofficially traces its roots to the 2003 “Ottawa Initiative on Haiti”. At that meeting US, French, OAS and Canadian officials discussed overthrowing Haiti’s President and putting the country under UN trusteeship.

Prof. Christopher Tinson is the 2018 winner of the inaugural Pauli Murray Book Prize from the African American Intellectual History Society for his latest publication, "Radical Intellect: Liberator Magazine and Black Activism in the 1960's."
Book description: The rise of black radicalism in the 1960s was a result of both the successes and the failures of the civil rights movement. The movement's victories were inspirational, but its failures to bring about structural political and economic change pushed many to look elsewhere for new strategies. During this era of intellectual ferment, the writers, editors, and activists behind the monthly magazine Liberator (1960–71) were essential contributors to the debate. In the first full-length history of the organization that produced the magazine, Christopher M. Tinson locates the Liberator as a touchstone of U.S.-based black radical thought and organizing in the 1960s. Combining radical journalism with on-the-ground activism, the magazine was dedicated to the dissemination of a range of cultural criticism aimed at spurring political activism, and became the publishing home to many notable radical intellectual-activists of the period, such as Larry Neal, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Harold Cruse, and Askia Toure.
By mapping the history and intellectual trajectory of the Liberator and its thinkers, Tinson traces black intellectual history beyond black power and black nationalism into an internationalism that would shape radical thought for decades to come.
