I absolutely love listening to to this music! Kompa Gouyad is filled with so much Passion and Love that once you hear the sounds you instantly feel The Vibes! The name originates from the French phrase compas direct, which literally translates to direct compass. But in Creole it's known as konpa or kompa, It originated in Haiti in the 1950s. As you watch this video your going to see the Amazing dancers from KOTR ! They are Amazing and talented group of People that have a dance studio in Little Haiti Miami and they teach all forms of Dancing so make sure you check them out on Instagram @Wikotr !
