I’ve been in Port-au-Prince Haiti for 7 days now, and I haven’t had the opportunity to eat a home cooked Haitian meal - until today!

I’m grateful to my host and her family for having me, and I must admit the food was incredible.

Yes the island is really called Rat island or "lle a rat" in Cap Haitian Haiti
The whole time I was there I only saw one Rat in the bushes.
